We have a team of caring and committed staff, all of whom are fully qualified and CRB checked.

We are led by manager Carrie and our aim is to provide a safe, caring, happy and stimulating environment for children to play, learn and have fun. We place a strong emphasis on developing each individual child’s needs, with particular focus on personal and social development.

Elston Pre-school’s staff work closely with parents and carers to ensure continuity from home to playgroup. Our staff are all parents themselves and most have been with us for a number of years.

We look after children from 2 years until they start school. We have places are available for funded 3 year olds.
Elston Pre-school has excellent transition links with local schools, arranging visits to the playgroup from School teachers and group visits from playgroup to schools.

We have an outside play area which is accessible to all children throughout the entire session and are in the process of developing our second outside space into a sensory garden
We also take the children on regular trips to the local park and they enjoy choosing books from the library van.
